APPROACH TO THE PHENOMENOLOGY OF CORRUPTION IN MEXICO

The present article offers an initial approach to one of the most relevant topics on the national agenda: corruption. Through the review of relevant, pertinent, and up-to-date studies, an analysis is made of the regression or, in the best-case scenarios, stagnation of a problem that has already been identified by a Mexican leader as part of the DNA of our country. Essentially, during this research exercise, indicators of perception, the initiation of complaints, income, and sentences for corruption-related incidents in recent years are identified, and some general reflections on this phenomenon are proposed.
